Jessie J Ditches Instagram, Says She's Focusing Energy on New Album

Jessie J is living her best life and has decided to keep it off the Gram.

The "Brave" singer announced she is warding off the social media giant on Saturday to focus her energy on recording a new album.

Sharing the news on the very site she's ditching, Jessie J announced, "Done it before, Doing it again. Having a break from the gram."

Her reasoning is "to get out my phone and into REAL LIFE." The singer adds she spends "way too much time scrolling through some BS."

The Grammy nominated singer gave a lengthy explanation for her decision, but assured fans she's okay.

"For the record I’m OK. Happy, healthy and sane. People often presume to come off Instagram you are going through some shit. Lol. Actually it’s the opposite," she wrote.

"Im in such a good place that I want to respect and nurture that looking up and not looking down," Jessie J continued.

Instead of being on social media, she says she's focusing all of her energy into making new music.

"Instagram is fun, but it isn’t real life.I’m off to write a new album," she wrote.

Jessie J says she'll be back soon "refreshed and refuelled [sic]" and encourages fans to do the same.

"Also, try and instagram cleanse every once in a while - it can do you no harm," the singer finished her message.

Channing Tatum's girlfriend has had a busy few years.

Besides dating one of America's most hunky men, she's spent most of 2018 and 2019 on tour.

She also serves as a coach on "The Voice Kids UK" alongside Pixie Lott, Danny Jones and will.i.am.
