Jessica Simpson's Daughter Maxwell Drew Looks Just Like Mom as She Strikes a Pose

Nothing makes us feel like time is flying like looking at a pic of a celebrity kid who we could swear was just a toddler — and suddenly is a whole little person running around and (more often than not) giving us major déjà-vu about what their famous parent looked like at that age. The same is so true for Jessica Simpson, whose little brood of 8-year-old Maxwell Drew, 7-year-old Ace Knute, and 1-year-old Birdie Mae are growing up to look more like mom Simpson and dad Eric Johnson every day. But even though Simpson’s been more than generous with peeks at her kiddos growing up, we still gasped at a new pic of lookalike Maxwell striking a pose. From the sassy hand on the hip to those bright blue eyes, this young lady is mom Jess’ doppelgänger through and through.

In Simpson’s latest photo of her young daughter, Maxwell Drew is sporting a hot pink summer dress, straw hat, and flip flops. But it’s truly the pose that makes this such a Jessica Simpson moment: the body angled away, the hand on the hip, the eye contact with the camera and ever-so-slightly pursed lips would all be dead giveaways that Maxwell had been practicing her angles — if she weren’t, y’know, 8 years old. In this case, we’re guessing the young beauty’s just born with it.

“Blue Eyed Beauty,” Simpson writes under the photo, and the comments flooded in right away to agree. 8 years old and already breaking the internet? Like mother, like daughter.
