Jessica Simpson has a lot to be thankful for this season and shared a snap showing off her four most prized possessions following a successful Thanksgiving dinner. Posting a pre-holiday photo with her husband, ex-NFL player Eric Johnson, and their three adorable children Birdie Mae, 8 months, Ace Knute, 6, and Maxwell “Maxi” Drew, 7, smiling sweetly, the 39-year-old mom and former singer admitted that getting all of her family members to pose and look cute wasn't as easy as it looks.
The Family Photo:
"Getting a family pic on Thanksgiving was a task, but we did it before the pajama change for the car ride home!!" Jessica Simpson captioned the family snap. "I woke up this morning with the continued warm and cozy feeling of gratitude. Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving! 🧡" she continued. In the cute picture, Jessica Simpson, her kids, and her football-playing husband were seen all decked out head to toe in their holiday gear and smiling sweetly all together. "Beautiful family," Paris Hilton wrote. "Ugh such goals. 🙏🏽" "Jersey Shore" star Snooki added.
Their darling family photo comes just two weeks after the former singer revealed she and her family had been suffering from the flu for a full 10 days which involved puke, fevers and even a concussion. Simpson posted a photo while taking a nap with her oldest daughter on the couch. "It was a challenging 10 days for the family," she captioned the picture. "Lots of puke, scary high fevers, coughing, and a concussion to top it all off." She credited Maxwell and Ace for being warriors during the Johnson family flu-gate. "Maxi and Ace are resilient troopers. Now we need some sleep 😴🙏🏼," she told her 5 million Instagram followers. "Eric and I are so relieved they are happy and healthy now."
100 Pounds Lighter!
Jessica Simpson is probably ready to move on to the year ahead, as 2019 was tough on her health. While pregnant with Birdie, she revealed she had been suffering from “months of sciatica pain." The fashion mogul also experienced three weeks of bronchitis during her pregnancy, as well as severe ankle swelling. Following giving birth to her healthy baby in March, Simpson jumped right back into her fitness routine and emerged 100 pounds lighter only 6 months later! She made her debut with her trim transformation in September very causally on social media. Sharing a photo of her tiny frame while wearing a black dress, the mom of three revealed she weighed 240 lbs. during her pregnancy and got real with fans about her struggle to drop the weight. "6 months. 100 pounds down (Yes, I tipped the scales at 240)," Simpson captioned the shot. She also stated that she finally felt back to her old self. "My first trip away from #BIRDIEMAE and emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again. Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder."
