Jessica Chastain dazzled at the National Board of Review Gala in New York City on Thursday.

The star, 46, made her first red carpet appearance of the year at the ceremony, where she served as a presenter. Chastain stunned in a floor-length, iridescent magenta and purple Vivienne Westwood gown. The scoop neck of the strapless dress draped down and cinched at her waist.

She accessorized with a multi-colored diamond tennis necklace and opted for a light pink makeup look. She wore her long red hair down in simple waves, leaving the attention on the rest of her look.

This past year, the Law and Order actress made headlines for her impeccable style on the red carpet, from her Zuhair Murad hot pink ballgown to her sheer crystallized spiderweb dress by Oscar de la Renta at the 2023 Golden Globes. Notably, at the latter, she confessed she had a fashion emergency prior to the show, but her tailor swooped in to rescue her.

“Please swipe to the last slide to see the real star of tonight, Orsolina Garcia, who expertly tailored this dress after our last minute noon fitting! She finished in the Nick of time!” wrote Chastain’s stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, on Instagram.

At the Met Gala, she forwent her signature red hair for a platinum blonde wig as she wore an all-black ensemble: a tulle gown with opera gloves and black sunglasses, topped off with a statement necklace.

During the Venice International Film Festival, while promoting her film Memory, Chastain donned a glittering v-neck Gucci gown. The custom dress was paired with Bulgari earrings and rings.
