What Do The Pics Show?

As The Blast reported, snaps made the rounds last week showing Timberlake appearing to be getting a little too close for comfort with Wainwright during a night out in New Orleans where the two are filming their upcoming movie. Justin Timberlake has since apologized for his actions but stood firm that nothing happened and he did not stray from his marriage. After the night out, Jessica Biel was photographed without her wearing her wedding ring. Another source told People the famous duo will “work through this. It was good that he apologized publicly but obviously the real work he is doing is in private and hopefully this was just a bad drunken night of this type of behavior.”

Timberlake's Statement:

Taking to his social media to address the situation with his co-star, Justin Timberlake told fans, “I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family, I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love.” While he admits that "a few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment," he added, "but let me be clear -- nothing happened between me and my costar. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better.” While the photos showed the singer holding hands with Alisha Wainwright, Timberlake added that "this is not the example I want to set for my son." He continued, “I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be.” The singer ended his statement by touting his movie and praising his co-star. "I am incredibly proud to be working on Palmer. Looking forward to continuing to make this movie and excited for people to see it," he said. Wainwright doubled down on Timberlake's statement and through a rep said, “There is no validity to this speculation. They are currently working on a project together. Members of the cast and crew were all together.”

Did He Violate Their Prenup?

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake said "I do" in Italy back in October 2012. Together, they share one child -- 4-year-old son, Silas. New York Daily News reports that the two may have had a cheating clause in their prenup and if Timberlake, whose net worth is over $200 million, broke it he could be on the hook for $500,000. After the photos came out, his representatives quickly shot down the speculation and denied there were any issues in his marriage with Biel by stating, “There is no validity to this speculation. They are working on a project together.” The movie he's currently filming with Wainwright follows an ex-convict who strikes up a friendship with a boy from a troubled home. "Palmer" also features Juno Temple and doesn't have a release date as of yet.
