Jessica Alba and Cash Warren had a fun-filled family Halloween.

The actress, 42, shared a video to Instagram of her spooky night on Tuesday, posing with Warren and their son, Hayes, 5. The family dressed as vampires, wearing fake fangs and fake blood that dripped down their chins.

"Rumor has it a fam of vampires 🧛🏼🧛🏻‍♀️🧛🏻‍♂️ went trick-or-treating last night 🎃👻 ," Alba wrote in the caption.

While speaking with PEOPLE at the BabyList Showroom in Beverly Hills, the actress, 42, revealed that her daughters — Honor Marie, 15, and Haven Garner, 12 — aren't exactly fans of her style.

"I mean, Haven can fit [into] my shoes, but she kind of thinks my shoes are dorky, so she doesn't really," Alba told PEOPLE after being asked if her girls steal from her closet. "Sometimes Honor will grab some tops or something, but yeah, not really. We have different styles."

"They always say I dress like a mom, which is really insulting. I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, I could literally kill you.' And they're like, 'But you are a mom.' And I'm like, 'Yeah, but you don't have to say it like that. So rude,' " she continued.

While also speaking with PEOPLE at the Honest Renovations screening with Lizzy Mathis at CHIEF Clubhouse in New York City in August, Alba talked about her kids' personalities.

"I would say they're all wildly different," Alba said. "They're all at different stages in life and they need something different from me."

"The one thing that is consistent," she continued, "[is] my 5-year-old gets jealous when I cuddle my 12-year-old or my 15-year-old. My 12-year-old gets jealous when I cuddle the 15-year-old and the 5-year-old. And my 15-year-old gets jealous when I cuddle the 12-year-old."

"If I cuddle one of them and rub their head, then all of a sudden I have all of them on top of me and they're all like, 'Mom, rub my head, rub my head, just rub my back,' " the Sin City actress added.
