Jessi Combs' boyfriend spent the day planning her celebration of life and shared a photo making it clear he believes the late star is still watching over him.
Terry Madden, who was with the 39-year-old jet car racer when she was made the fatal attempt to break the land speed record, posted the photo to Instagram and it is mind blowing.
"Remember that time..... So this one was actually yesterday. We had just had a really rough day trying to hammer out the details for Jessi celebration. Walked out into the parking garage said our good bye, cried, told a few stories, and did our best to look happy in a picture. I’ve never been extremely faithful have always had questions, but the signs thru all this have been overwhelming. She just couldn’t be left out of this picture, love you @thejessicombs and love the fact you will always be looking over my shoulder. Can’t quite explain it but every time thru this that I have been extremely challenged she has given me the answer. We are well on the way with amazing friends to having her foundation established and I WILL make it my life mission to run this foundation in her name and fulfill as many of her dreams as humanly possible and then maybe a few more." he wrote.
If you look closely at the photo, there is clearly a light orb in the upper right hand corner.
While attempting to beat her own land speed record, Jessi's 52,000 horsepower jet-powered car crashed in the Oregon desert.
A foundation has been set up to help complete her documentary about racing.
Her family released a statement about her death at the time saying, "It is with extreme grief, and in celebration of her life that her family and close friends share that race car driver, and TV personality Jessi Combs, passed away in a fatal crash, where she was pursuing a land speed record in the North American Eagle on August, 27th 2019 on a dry lake bed in Oregon."
