But where are Cam and Rexford?

The Tucker-Pritchett family is (almost) back together.

Even when the cameras are off, Jesse Tyler Ferguson is a supportive dad to his TV daughter, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons. The Modern Family alums who spent nearly a decade as father and daughter reunited last week when Ferguson attended the young actress' high school play.

"Got to see my talented pretend daughter in her high school production of THE BURN," Ferguson captioned a photo of the two. Recalling his many years sharing the screen with Anderon-Emmons, Ferguson also referenced his 3-year-old son, who he shares with husband Justin Mikita. "It's crazy to think Aubrey was just a few months older than Beckett when I met her! Look at her now!!!"

He added, "Congrats, Aubrey! You were SO great! Love you! You make a pretend papa proud."

Ferguson starred in Modern Family when it debuted in 2009. The series followed the everyday lives of an extended family in suburban Los Angeles. Anderson-Emmons joined the series three seasons in at age 4, playing Mitchell Pritchett (Ferguson) and Cameron Tucker's (Eric Stonestreet) adopted daughter, Lily.

The trio remained an onscreen family until the series concluded with its 11th season in 2020 and even added another child, Lily's adopted brother Rexford, at the very end.

Produced by Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd, the long-running ABC sitcom earned 22 Emmy Awards, including five for Outstanding Comedy Series. The entire cast has remained close since the series came to an end, including Ferguson and Anderson-Emmons who share occasional social media updates on their mini-family reunions.

In 2015, Ferguson told PEOPLE that working with Anderson-Emmons and other young co-stars, including Nolan Gould and Ariel Winter, contributed to his desire to have children with Milkita.

"Working with kids on set and having been with them now for six years and watching them go through their formative years has been really eye-opening," he said at the time. "It's great. It definitely has fed my desire to be a dad."

The couple welcomed their first child, Beckett, in 2020 and their second son, Sullivan Louis, in 2022.
