Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita Celebrate Christmas with Sons Sully and Beckett: 'So Much Love'

The family of four had a fun Christmas with family and friends

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita had a magical Christmas with their little boys.

The holiday consisted of lots of quality time for the Modern Family alum, 48, and his husband, along with sons Sullivan "Sully" Louis, 13 months, and Beckett Mercer, 2½.

The family of four posed for a photo together in front of their Christmas tree, with Mikita holding their younger son while Ferguson holds Beckett. Both boys wore festive pajamas in the sweet family photo.

Ferguson posted the photos along with some other shots from a holiday celebration with friends and former Modern Family co-stars.

"Merry Christmas & happy holidays from the Mikita - Ferguson household. Thanks to Santa for making a visit, to @sarahcarey1 for making everything delicious, to @toddhawk for bringing the spirit & @pernodricardusa for keeping the bar stocked! Sending y’all so much love. ❤️❤️🎁🥰🎅🏻," he captioned the carousel of photos.

In a series of posts to Instagram last month, Ferguson shared photos of him making biscuits for the family of four's Thanksgiving feast with his little ones.

"Can adults still have core memories? If so, can this be one of them? 👨‍🍳 ❤️❤️," he gushed in the caption.

The pictures included shots of Ferguson and his toddler rolling out dough with pins while images shared to his Instagram Story featured the father-son duo pinching butter and flour together in a mixing bowl.

While speaking with PEOPLE earlier this year, Ferguson talked about how he enjoys watching Beckett grow into his role as a big brother.

"He's excited for Sully to slowly do more than just lay there. He actually said, 'Sully, do something!' the other day, and I explained he just needs a little bit more time," he said with a laugh. "But he does like telling people he's a big brother."

The Tony Award winner, who welcomed son Beckett in 2020 and Sully in 2022 via surrogate, noted that raising his two sons has been a different experience.

"We were hands-on all this time, kind of staring at him because we were all stuck together," he told PEOPLE in April. "Now because Beckett is very active and the world sort of come back, I'm working, and Justin is working, and we're using our in-laws and parents more to help us out, when before everyone sort of had to stay away."
