Jessa (Duggar) Seewald is officially introducing her new baby to the world.

On Sunday, the former Counting On star — who just welcomed her fifth child with husband Ben Seewald — posted a YouTube video revealing her son's name, George Augustine. The video also documented the adorable moment her other four children found out about their newest sibling's sex and name.

"Throughout the entire pregnancy, Ben and I kept the baby's gender a secret, and so today, the kids are going to come over to the hospital and get to meet their little sibling for the first time and find out the baby's gender," Jessa, 30, explained as the clip began.

When her daughters Ivy, 4, and Fern, 2, and sons Henry, 6, and Spurgeon, 9, arrived and gathered around their mom's hospital bed, they learned they had a new brother.

"They were all hoping for a boy!" Jessa revealed in a text caption over the clip.

Fern then excitedly climbed into bed next to her mom, hoping to be the first to hold George. The toddler beamed as Jessa placed the tiny swaddled baby into her arms.

"Just when you think your heart can't be any more full as a parent, you see your bigger kids loving on the newborn baby, and your heart just swells with emotion," Jessa said in a voiceover. "It's the sweetest thing to witness."

She also shared in the video that she and Ben, 28, had yet to settle on a name but had a "top contender."

"We're thinking about naming him George," Ben said in the clip, prompting his mother — who was with the family at the hospital — to exclaim, "Oh, I was just about to read the children Saint George and the Dragon. [It's all about] courage and bravery."

Later in the video, Jessa spent some time gazing at her new baby to see if George felt like the right choice. "Sometimes I just like to look at them, study and see if the name fits," she explained.

"Right now, we're leaning towards using Augustine for the middle name. I think that sounds like a really good, strong name. George Augustine. I think the name fits," she continued, as the camera zoomed in on her baby's face.

The video also captured footage of Jessa and Ben bringing George home from the hospital, as well as all of the sweet family bonding that ensued.

Fern, in particular, seemed completely enamored with her new brother, planting lots of kisses on his head as she cuddled up next to him on the couch.

"We'll just be over here soaking up baby snuggles," Jessa wrote in a caption as the video concluded.

The former reality star first announced George's arrival on Saturday, sharing a photo on Instagram showing her holding the newborn in her hospital bed after his delivery. “Baby is here and we couldn’t be more grateful!" she wrote in the post's caption.

She also revealed more details about George's birth in a video on her YouTube channel, including the fact that her delivery experience had a few complications.

In addition to an epidural that “worked great on one side” but was “sort of spotty on the other side," George was in a “posterior" position during the labor. Jessa said she ended up calling her midwife, who came to the hospital and helped her “get into a bunch of different laboring positions to help rotate the baby.”

After 21 hours of labor, George finally made his arrival. Both Jessa and her husband were overcome with emotion when they saw their son for the first time.

“The sweetest moment [was] when they raised the baby up and put him on me. Just holding him there, I think there were just so many emotions in that moment [and] so many things that you’re processing. It’s been a year since we lost our last baby and just a flood of emotions," Jessa said, referencing her 2022 miscarriage.
