"The reporting of the alleged incident relating to Ronnie Magro yesterday is based upon pure speculation and innuendo," he said in a statement.

He continued, "We are currently conducting our own investigation and will have no further comment until that has been concluded."

It's unclear what details his lawyer is referring to, but it seems the 'Jersey Shore' star is downplaying his assault on his GF Jenn Harley.

The 33-year-old reality show star was arrested early Friday morning after an argument with Harley turned violent.

LAPD says they received a call at 2:40 AM for a "reported battery in progress." When cops arrived on the scene, they had to use a taser on Ronnie after breaking down the door.

We obtained audio of the incident, where you clearly hear the dispatcher say Ortiz-Margo is allegedly carrying a knife during the incident.

Harley told officers on scene that Ronnie was intoxicated, and had punched her, all while the couple's young daughter was present.

Video of earlier in the night shows the couple partying and even kissing at the launch of Ronnie's CBD company, Verge. The reality star is visibly intoxicated in the video.

Ronnie was booked on kidnapping charges, related to holding the couple's daughter during the scuffle. He has since been released $100,000 bail.
