Who was driving the metaphorical bus that ran over Angelina Pivarnick?

On the Thursday, Sept. 28, episode, filmed at the Margaritaville Resort in Orlando, the cast of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” was dealing with fallout from Deena Cortese, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Sammi Giancola and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi not attending the opening of Lauren Sorrentino's Bijoux Boutique in March.

Angelina confronted the roomies about it on last week's episode, but Mike Sorrentino, Lauren's husband, backtracked, saying their non-attendance was not a big deal after previously saying it was a big deal.

“It's not the end of the world,” said Mike on Thursday.

“It ts for me in that (blanking) predicament with those four lighting me up on fire,” Angelina said.

Lauren chimed in.

“I feel it's more about your history and other unresolved things,” said Lauren about Angelina. “Why anyone is really upset about this doesn't make sense to me. This is about nothing and we know Jenni's history with Angelina, so I think there may be something bigger going on.”

Yes, Jenni and Angelina do have a frosty relationship, but on the Sept. 14 episode, Lauren called the roomies not attending her store opening “sad.”

“Your friends are not here,” Lauren said. “Why are your friends not here is kind of a buzzkill but (Angelina) wasn't wrong. She was stating the obvious.”

Lauren is not blind to what went down, but she does have her husband's back.

“What Mike relayed was exactly what Angelina had said and what she said wasn't anything that wasn't truthful, but (Mike's) sharing the information with Jenni was kind of stirring the pot,” Lauren said. “That is why it turned into a brawl with Angelina.”

This seems to be part of a bigger ongoing issue between the female roomies and Mike and Lauren.

“The girls have missed the baby day (for Mike and Lauren’s daughter Mia) and now my wife's store opening,” Mike said. “Two events in a row that upset me but I was too scared to admit how I feel. I was hurt more than I let onto and I know they had their excuses and they couldn't make it, but I still felt some type of way.”

The pot did not boil over on Thursday's episode after Mike told the roomies how he really feels.

“I have to take some accountability that I did stir the pot a little bit with passing the information to you, Jenni,” Mike said. “Ang was being Ang, but not in a malicious way.”

Maybe the girls can make it up by attending Mike and Lauren's next baby day: The couple announced this week on social media that they're expecting Baby No. 3.

“Good things come in threes,” said Mike and Lauren in a joint Instagram post on Sept. 26. “Adding another pumpkin to our patch. Baby #3 coming March 2024.”

The new addition will join Romeo, 2, and Mia, 9 months.

“All Star Shore,” narrated by Nicole and starring Vinny Guadagnino, followed “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” Thursday night on MTV.
