On Monday night, the In Memoriam segment at the 2023 Emmy Awards reflected on some of Hollywood’s greatest losses in the past year. Among the tributes appeared Matthew Perry, Angus Cloud, Paul Reubens, Norman Lear, Barbara Walters, and dozens more. But the acknowledgments were also notably missing a number of figures.

The segment spanned nearly five full minutes as The War and Treaty and Charlie Puth delivered performances of “See You Again” and the Friends theme song, “I’ll Be There for You.” But not mentioned during that time were Jerry Springer, Julian Sands, Raquel Welch, Tom Sizemore, Ray Stevenson, Al Brown, Ryan O’Neal, Richard Moll, Lisa Loring, and more.

More from Rolling Stone

Springer was well known as one of daytime television’s most influential and notorious personalities, while Sands was a prolific British actor best known for his role in the critically acclaimed 1986 film A Room With a View. Welch was an award-winning actress who appeared in Bewitched, One Million Years B.C., The Three Musketeers, and more. O’Neal was a star in the Seventies films Love Story, What’s Up, Doc? and Paper Moon.

Sizemore performed memorable roles in films like Heat, Natural Born Killers, and Saving Private Ryan. Stevenson played the Marvel Comic characters Frank Castle and Volstagg, as well as appearing in on-screen and voice roles in Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Ahsoka. Brown was famous for his role as Stan Valchek in the hit HBO series The Wire. Moll was best known for his role on Night Court.

The Emmys include an extended list of tributes in an In Memoriam section on their website that includes figures who were not selected to appear in the televised broadcast. The database includes performers, screenwriters, directors, producers, cinematographers, stunt choreographers, makeup artists, and more.
