Jerry Seinfeld Gets Repeatedly Insulted by Jiminy Glick on 'Maya and Marty'

On Tuesday’s Maya and Marty, Jerry Seinfeld stopped by to be insulted by faux talk show host Jiminy Glick, played by Martin Short. Glick introduced the comedy icon by saying, “Please welcome from the ‘90s, Jerry Seinfeld.”

Glick recalled that Seinfeld’s standup act is obsessed with minutiae and even tried to do a classic Seinfeld observational joke by asking, “Why do windows get dirty?” without a punchline. At one point Jerry Seinfeld asked if Glick had ever seen his show, Seinfeld. He replied, “I always meant to see the show. Who was in it? The girl from from Veep. I love Veep!”

Glick ended the interview by saying to the comedian, “Please come back again and see if you can find anything that can make America remember why they gave you all that money. Because right now they’re questioning.”

Maya & Marty airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
