Jerry Seinfeld add second show at IU Auditorium Oct. 20; tickets on sale now

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld will kick off Indiana University's Homecoming weekend with two performances at IU Auditorium. A second show was added and tickets for both are on sale now.

Where do I know Jerry Seinfeld from?

This one should be easy, because Seinfeld starred in the long-running NBC show "Seinfeld," which ran for nine seasons from 1989 to 1998. He created "the show about nothing" with Larry David, a perception driven in part by a 1992 episode titled "The Pitch" in which Seinfeld and character George Costanza, played by Jason Alexander, try to sell a TV series. Seinfeld revealed later the idea behind the show was really how comedians get ideas for their jokes.

More recently, Seinfeld has done several Netflix projects including “Jerry Before Seinfeld” and “23 Hours to Kill” along with the highly acclaimed web series, “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”

Seinfeld has also starred in, written and produced movies including “Comedian” and “Bee Movie,” directed and produced Broadway hit “Colin Quinn Long Story Short,” and wrote three best-selling books: "Is this Anything?," "Seinlanguage" and "The Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Book" and a children’s book, "Halloween." Seinfeld recently announced his upcoming film "Unfrosted" and continues to perform both nationally and internationally.
