When it comes to making must-have phone cases, Jeremy Scott's the man for the job. Look no further than his sold-out iPhone cases shaped like Windex bottles and french-fries packages for proof. So it comes as no surprise that the L.A. designer has partnered with Google to create a collection of custom Live Cases for the tech giant's new Pixel phone.
The cases, priced at $40 each and designed by Scott, come in six different cartoon designs, from playful champagne-bottle patterns to a popcorn-and-drink combo. What makes the Live Case particularly unique is its built-in Near Field Communication technology, which communicates with your phone. After the case snaps on, a wallpaper app appears on your screen for downloading.
The app also gives users the J'emoji keyboard, which features custom emoji animations designed by Scott. New characters will be added daily.
Compatible with Google's Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P phones, the Jeremy Scott x Google Live Case is sold exclusively at Google stores in the U.S., Canada, Australia, U.K. and Germany. It's available from now until the end of January 2017.
