Jeremy Renner shared a clip of a lighter moment as he remains in the hospital after a snow vehicle accident.

The Marvel star shared a video of his head being massaged, calling it an “ICU spa moment" to lift his spirits on his Instagram story and thanking his mother and sister, who also appear in the clip.

“First shower in definitely a week or so,” Renner says in the video. “Gross.”

He also shared the video on Twitter, calling it an “amazing spa day with my sis and mama.”

Renner suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries in the snow vehicle accident in Reno, Nevada, on Sunday, Renner’s representatives confirmed.

Jeremy Renner in 'tragic accident' authorities say

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office has said Renner was the only person involved in the accident. Sheriff Darin Balaam said in a press conference on Tuesday that a 911 call regarding a crash in which a person was run over by a snowcat came in at approximately 8:55 a.m. on Sunday.

The night before, the area had received about 3 feet of fresh snow. Balaam explained that the accident happened after Renner was using the snowcat to help a family member who was stuck in the snow near the star’s home. Renner was speaking to the family member when the snowcat started to roll.

"We do not believe Mr. Renner was impaired at all, and we believe this is a tragic accident," Balaam said, noting that law enforcement officials did not suspect “any foul play.”

USA TODAY has reached out to Renner’s representatives for additional information on his condition.

Renner shared his first Instagram post on Tuesday since the accident, saying “Thank you all for your kind words,” alongside a selfie from his hospital bed.

"Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all,” he added.
