Jeremy Allen White is living in "Santa World" with Christmas approaching.

The father of two — he shares daughters Ezer Billie White, 5, and Dolores Wild White, 3, with estranged wife Addison Timlin — tells PEOPLE "it's all Santa Clause all the time" in his household this holiday season.

"My daughters are very into Santa," he explains. "The letter and the cookies and the carrots for the reindeer. All that kind of stuff."

White, 32, is also busy over the holidays promoting the release of his new film The Iron Claw, which opens in theaters Dec. 22.

The actor stars alongside Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson and Stanley Simons as the legendary Von Erich brothers, who made history in the world of pro wrestling in the early 1980s. The actors ate thousands of calories a day and trained for months to play Kevin Von Erich (Efron), Kerry Von Erich (White) and David Von Erich (Dickinson), sibling wrestling champions who deal with familial struggles and try to live up to the expectations of their father, famed wrestler Fritz Von Erich (Holt McCallany).

Speaking with PEOPLE about training for the wrestling drama, The Bear star says, "I do feel like it was some sort of trauma bonding that happened. We were all insecure and nervous about learning this new thing. And we were comfortable letting each other know how overwhelmed we were at the beginning."

Before daughter Ezer was born in 2018, White opened up to PEOPLE about becoming a father for the first time.

"I just want to meet her. I'm just excited to have her," he said. "I'm excited to take her home. We are going to take her home to New York for the holidays and my parents will get to meet her. It's their first grandchild. Seeing my parents see her will be incredible."

Since splitting from White, Timlin and the actor have agreed to share joint custody of their daughters.
