It's time to pay attention Jeopardy! fans, because an announcement was just made that we think you're going to be interested in.

With the ongoing success of the original series and its spinoffs Jeopardy! Masters and Celebrity Jeopardy!, it's difficult to imagine there could be even more coming from the hit TV franchise. Well, it looks like fans are in for a treat, as Sony Pictures Television's Game Show Division (the company that produces Jeopardy!) revealed via Variety that Amazon Prime Video will stream Jeopardy's new series, which will be titled Pop Culture Jeopardy! The show will launch in 240 countries and territories, and questions will focus on all things entertainment, from music to movies and Broadway.

"Pop Culture Jeopardy! is its own cultural moment, marking the first time the iconic franchise will premiere exclusively on a streaming service," Lauren Anderson, head of AVOD originals unscripted and targeted programming, Amazon MGM Studios, said in an official statement. "With a team-based approach and pop-culture focus, our global Prime Video customers will exclusively experience this innovative spin on Jeopardy! while testing their knowledge on topics that both define and transcend generations."

But that's not all the new Jeopardy! series has to offer. With this new streaming platform version of the show, Pop Culture Jeopardy! will introduce a twist the other shows don't offer.

According to Deadline, the spinoff series will have contestants participating in teams of three, offering a more competitive atmosphere for each game. The show will also function in the style of a tournament (much like Jeopardy! Masters), with one person winning the grand prize at the end.

As for who is expected to be a part of Pop Culture Jeopardy!, longtime producer Michael Davies will continue his partnership with Jeopardy! and be the show's executive producer. And while Ken Jennings hasn't been confirmed as the host, it's definitely a possibility as he currently hosts the original show and its subsequent spinoffs.

No matter the case, we'll be sure to keep an eye out for what's to come!
