Popular actress Jeon Mi-Do has appeared in a selected set of Movies and K-dramas but has managed to play diverse roles, garnering worldwide recognition. The actress made her debut in the musical Mr Mouse in 2006. She further made her television debut in the 2018 series Mother. Her big screen debut came the following year with the movie Metamorphosis. The actress landed her first lead role in the now-popular 2020 series Hospital Playlist.

Jeon Mi-Do’s role as Dr. Cha Seong-Hwa in the Hospital Playlist gave her immense recognition as an actress. She also played a lead role in the popular series Thirty-Nine. Jeon Mi-Do is also well-known for her stage and musical work, including Sweeny Todd, Maybe Happy Ending, and others. She will play another interesting lead role in the upcoming SBS K-drama Connection.

She gets diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and navigates her final days with her friends Cha Mi-Jo (Son Ye-Jin) and Jang Joo-Hee (Kim Ji-Hyun).

The drama also stars Yeon Woo-Jin, Lee Moo-Saeng, Lee Tae-Hwan, and several others. It premiered on February 16, 2022, and is available on Netflix.

Connection

Connection is an upcoming SBS K-drama premiere on May 24, 2024, at 10 p.m. KST. The series follows the story of an ace narcotics detective, Jang Jae-Kyung (Ji-Sung), who gets forcibly addicted to drugs by someone.

Using his friend’s mysterious death as a clue, he begins to uncover their connection, leading to the revelation of dark truths and buried secrets. To complete his mission, he collaborates with outspoken and passionate social affairs reporter Oh Yoon-Jin (Jeon Mi-Do). Viewers eagerly await seeing Jeon Mi-Do in this upcoming series.
