Jennifer Love Hewitt Celebrates 10-Year Wedding Anniversary with Brian Hallisay: 'It Has Always Been You'

"I knew the moment we met that my life would be better with you in it. And the last ten years have been more than I could’ve ever dreamed," the actress shared of her husband

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Brian Hallisay are celebrating a decade as husband and wife.

On Monday, the 44-year-old actress celebrated the milestone anniversary with a sweet Instagram tribute to her husband.

“10 years! I knew the moment we met that my life would be better with you in it. And the last ten years have been more than I could’ve ever dreamed,” she wrote alongside then and now photos. “Our beautiful kids and family that is truly my everything.”

“Our adventures, tears, hard times, great times and simple days where not much happens at all. It’s my perfect dream because it’s with you,” she added. “It’s has always been you my love. I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years bring us. Happy Anniversary! 🥂❤️”

In one photo, the couple show off their wedding rings and in the other snapshot, the pair smile while on a boat.

Several celebrity pals congratulated the pair in the comment section, Jennifer Garner shared, “Happy anniversary, Love! ♥️♥️♥️”

Amanda Kloots wrote, “Omg yay!!! Cutest couple! Happy anniversary to you two lovebirds!” and Lindsay Price added, “Happy Anniversary lovebirds. ❤️❤️❤️”

Earlier this year, Hewitt also shared a loving tribute to her husband in honor of Father’s Day, writing, “This one. I knew I loved him as a person, best friend and husband. But then to see him as a father it grew so much deeper. Three times I have watched him truly give all to our babies. We love you so much! Happy Father’s Day! ❤️”

After briefly costarring in the unaired pilot for the 2011 TV series Love Bites and reconnecting on the set of The Client List, PEOPLE confirmed the couple's engagement in June 2013, just days after news broke that they were expecting their first child together.

Hewitt and Hallisay, 45, married in November 2013 and have since welcomed three children together.

On Nov. 26, 2013, Hewitt and Hallisay welcomed their first child together — a daughter named Autumn James. During an appearance on  The Ellen DeGeneres Show in April 2014, Hewitt revealed that her secret wedding to Hallisay had taken place just "five days before [Autumn] was born, basically."

The Party of Five alum told host Ellen DeGeneres, "It was just the two of us, and then we went to Bed Bath & Beyond, because that's what married people do." She added of Hallisay: "He's an awesome, incredible father and a great husband, and I just feel really lucky."

After welcoming Autumn, the couple welcomed their second child, son Atticus James, on June 25, 2015. The family then became a party of five when Hewitt and Hallisay welcomed their third child, son Aidan James, on Sept. 9, 2021.

Hallisay and Hewitt reunited on screen in season two of Hewitt's show 9-1-1.

"It was just lovely to go to work together," Hewitt said during an interview with ET Canada at PaleyFest 2019. "We both had never been able to play characters like this in our careers, these characters with dark, twisted things to them. And, so, that's been really fun for us."

In April 2019, Hewitt also celebrated working with Hallisay on Instagram, captioning a picture of the two of them in bloody makeup, "Tonight my heart is so full. I am so proud of my husband's performance."
