Jennifer Lopez and fiancé Alex Rodriguez are definitely relationship goals. Not only are they ridiculously in love, but they also adore the children each has from their respective past relationships. Jennifer Lopez posted a video of her daughter hugging Alex Rodriguez on Instagram this week, and we can’t get over the cuteness.
The moment, captured during the Sacramento stop on Lopez’s “It’s My Party” tour, followed a duet of Lopez and Emme’s song “Limitless” — which, if you haven’t heard the insanely amazing voice of Emme Maribel Muñiz, you should! After the song, Emme went backstage where Rodriguez was waiting to deliver a massive hug and kiss. The whole thing was so darling, and Lopez included it as part of her Instagram story with the caption “My whole heart.”

Lopez and Rodriguez have only been engaged three months — a proposal Rodriguez said he worked on for three days — but their relationship stretches back to 2005. In fact, Rodriguez called Lopez his “dream date” back in 1998! (Footage which he had no problem sharing on his own Instagram.) And while there have been allegations of infidelity in the past, the couple is well past that and are set to live happily ever after.
Lopez’s two children with singer and ex-husband Marc Anthony, Emme and Max, are said to get along great with Rodriguez’s two daughters, Natasha and Ella. All three parents even got together a few weeks ago to honor Max during a recent piano recital in the most embarrassing way possible.
It’s great to see everyone get along together, and the fact that Emme gives her seal of approval to Rodriguez says a lot to us, as well as J-Lo!
