Jennifer Lopez deserves her props. She is one of the queens of the stage. And her days as a background dancer on In Living Color and even in Janet Jackson’s “That’s the Way Love Goes” video definitely prepared her for the stardom that lay ahead.
We’ve taken on the laborious task of reviewing all of her music videos and ranking them. This project has reminded us of the impact she has had on fashion, pop music, and dance. Check out the videos below, and let us know which videos you think should have ranked higher – or lower – on the list.
42. “Baila” (1998)
J.Lo mixed salsa and rock flavors for her dance-heavy debut solo video; the song appeared on the soundtrack of the Meryl Streep and Gloria Estefan film Music of the Heart.
41. “Let’s Get Loud” (2000)
This song that Gloria Estefan originally wrote for herself before giving it to J.Lo had the perfect energy for the 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup. So when Jennifer had an opportunity to perform the song at the event, they recorded it and used it as the song’s music video, of course.
40. “No Me Ames” (1998)
Years before Jennifer and Marc Anthony wed, fans caught a glimpse of their chemistry on this duet ballad (a Spanish cover of the Italian song “No Amarmi”) from her debut, On the 6.
39. “Feel the Light” (2015)
Even though this video is filled with clips from Jennifer’s film Home, she managed to personalize it, wearing ornate costumes and gowns that gave the clip her signature touch.
38. “Baby I Love U!” (2003)
There were extras or leading men in this ballad that featured mostly close-up shots of a smitten J.Lo professing her love to her man – Ben Affleck, at the time.
37. “Stressin’” (2014)
J.Lo joined Fat Joe for this bragadocious track “Stressin” primarily filmed in the VIP section of a nightclub. When Jennifer asked, “Do we look like we stressin?” the answer was clear: Not even a little.
36. “Ain’t It Funny” (2001)
After getting befriended by a group of gypsies, Jennifer meets the man of her dreams, portrayed by Mexican soap opera actor Eduardo Verástegui, in this early clip.
35. “Control Myself” (2006)
J.Lo went old-school electrofunk in this video from LL Cool’s Todd Smith album. Though Jennifer is usually known for dancing talents, she opted to leave the choreography to the video vixens and instead focus on just being the sexy leading lady in this one.
34. “Alive” (2002)
This video from J.Lo’s 2002 thriller Enough featured footage from the film, showing J.Lo’s character and her daughter fleeing from her abusive husband.
33. “Feelin’ So Good” (2000)
Before she became “Jenny on the Block,” she earned hip-hop cred for featuring Big Pun and Fat Joe on this track. Sadly, Pun passed away before the release. The a-day-in-the-life video included an “in loving memory” message to Pun.

Jennifer served up Pussycat Dolls realness in this naughty-girl video featuring her dancing to a boombastic pop track.
31. “Hold You Down” (2005)
J.Lo and Fat Joe teamed up again for this sweet ode to that longtime loyal loved one.
30. “Fresh Out the Oven” (2009)
After watching Jennifer’s “Fresh Out the Oven” video, one thing is clear: No baked goods were involved in its making. Instead the beautiful diva showed off her couture as she cooed flirtatious lyrics like: “You wanna break it off here / Break it off there.” Her iHeartRasio Fiesta co-headliner Pitbull provided a guest rap.
29. “First Love” (2014)
J.Lo celebrated finally finding the love of her life in this video featuring her and British model David Gandy frolicking in a California desert.
28. “Adrenalina” (2014)
Reggaeton singer Wisin enlisted J.Lo and Ricky Martin for this Hot Latin Songs hit from Wisin’s El Regreso del Sobreviviente album. J.Lo was stunning as usual as she stole the limelight in booty shorts and a cropped top. Plus, there was a sexy J.Lo and Ricky scene that alone made this video’s Lo Nuestro Awards nomination for Video of the Year warranted.
27. “I’m Real” (2001)
Plotline: J.Lo made an impression on a small town, turning heads and treating young girls to ice cream cones. But before she left, she blessed the town to a big production concert in the middle of a field.
26. “Live It Up” (2013)
We’re ready to start a petition to get Jennifer and Pitbull to release a collab album. Their energy together is just too good. Here, Jennifer hit the runway in hot haute couture and partied in Fort Lauderdale with Pit; ANTM winner Eva Marcille also made a cameo.
25. “Hold It Don’t Drop It” (2007)
For this disco-inspired jam, J.Lo sported ‘70s outfits and glitter makeup, and swung on an oversized disco ball – years before’s Miley Cyrus’ s"Wrecking Ball" video. Although it wasn’t obvious, Jennifer was pregnant with her twins at the time.
24. “Dance Again” (2012)
Several months after Jennifer and Marc Anthony annonced their split, she and boyfriend, background dancer Casper Smart, showcased their chemistry in this video. Though the storyline promoted free love, this couple were clearly drawn only to each other.
23. “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” (2000)
When Jennifer reemerged with her sophomore album, J.Lo, she had a new, sassier attitude. For example, check out the album’s first video here, in which she tells a neglectful lover that he can keep his fancy gifts. She’s looking for quality time.
22. “If You Had My Love” (1999)
This is what you call a superstar debut. Jennifer’s presence in this video – the first from her introductory set On the 6 – is of the magnitude of a multiplatinum recording artist.
21. “Play” (2001)
The futuristic setting of this video should not be surprising, considering it was helmed by Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence. Jennifer reveled on a spaceship and airplane amid tons of computer-generated graphics in this epic effort.
20. “Follow the Leader” (2012)
J.Lo joined Winsin & Yandel for this video from their Líderes album and showed off her athletic side as she spents a good portion of the video racing through Acupulco on foot, jumping off buildings and turning flip to escape assailants. Impressive.
19. “I Luh Ya Papi” (2014)
Usually rappers objectify women in their music videos, so J.Lo turned the tables in this clip featuring a group of half-naked men who simply stood around looking pretty.
18. “All I Have” (2003)
J.Lo could not have picked a better duet partner, LL Cool J, for this hip-hop ballad set against a romantic, East Coast winter theme.
17. “Goin’ In” (2012)
Why isn’t Jennifer an EDM goddess? Her pink bedazzled lipstick, high-powered dance moves, and airy vocals worked so well with the multicolored light show here. Contributions from Lil Jon and Flo Rida made this even cooler.
16. “T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)” (2011)
will.i.am recuited Jennifer and Mick Jagger for this club banger with a futuristic video depicting will as a James Bond-esque character, J.Lo as a space goddess, and Mick, as, well, just his always-awesome self.
15. “Booty” (2014)
After years of being heralded for her backside, Jennifer was bound to make this song and video. It was wise to bring fellow voluptuous pop act Iggy Azalea along for three minutes of rump-shaking and butt-slapping: the formula for an instant viral smash.
14. “I’m Into You” (2011)
Honestly, we have to say that we didn’t miss Lil Wayne not being in this video, despite his featured rap. J.Lo and male lead William Levy kept it steamy and exotic, even using Mexico’s historic Chichen Itza as a backdrop. There was also an amazing tribal dance scene during one of the song’s breaks.
13. “Qué Hiciste” (2007)
This was Jennifer’s first Spanish song to hit the Billboard Hot 100, and the accompanying video was filled with drama. She drove through a desert, dyed her hair in a bathroom, and doused her car in gasoline before setting it on fire and wandering off into the desert.
12. “Ain’t It Funny (Murder Remix)” (2002)
Jennifer Lopez and Murder Inc. had such a good thing. Rocking over a sample of Craig Mack’s "Flava in Ya Ear,” this “Ain’t It Funny (Murder Remix)” is just as infectious as their earlier teaming, “I’m Real.” In the clip, J.Lo dismissed a ex hoping for a second chance. Ironically, the video was directed by J.Lo’s ex-husband, Chris Judd.
11. “I’m Gonna Be Alright (Track Masters Remix)” (2002)
Jennifer donned some of her sexiest looks in this clip that featured Nas and an interpolation of the music of the Luniz’s “I Got 5 on It.” It opened with the wow factor, as she sat in a lawn chair in on a New York street wearing nothing but a bikini.
10. “Same Girl” (2014)
To make her point that Jennifer was still the “Same Girl” who grew up in Castle Hill neighborhood of the Bronx, she returned to her old neighborhood to shoot this unscripted visual. Scenes of Jennifer walking down the street, greeting fans, and catching the subway were all spontaneous, creating an authentic feel. It even included scenes with youth from the Andrew Freedman House and Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra.
9. “Do It Well” (2007)
Jennifer portrayed a vigilante undercover agent on a mission to rescue enslaved child workers. But she remembered her obligations as a pop star, of course, and took regular breaks to engage in hip-hop dance routines as well as fight scenes.
8. “On the Floor” (2011)
It’s impossible to watch this video and not dance along. J.Lo and Pitbull delivered another one of their masterpieces set in a party atmosphere, and as usual, Miss Lopez looked spectacular.
7. “Me Haces Falta” (2007)
This video from Jennifer’s Spanish album Como Ama una Mujer offered more depth than her usual pop videos. Here, she played a remorseful FBI agent turning her boyfriend over to the authorites.
6. “Papi” (2011)
Yes, there’s a common theme in Jennifer’s videos: Every man who sets eyes on her falls in love. But this one took it further with a town of men chasing her down, dancing with her in the streets, until her serviceman bae returned to her side.
5. “Get Right” (2004)
J.Lo added a fun element to this video for the dance track, portraying a half a dozen characters in the clip set in a nightclub. Jennifer played the bartender, DJ, waitresses, and various club patrons. Possibly her cutest video ever.
4. “Waiting for Tonight” (1999)
Pop music videos don’t get more exotic than J. Lo’s sexy, sweaty, New Year’s Eve dance party in the middle of a jungle. The green laser light show made this one that much cooler. What a way to bring in the new millennium.
3. “I’m Real (Murder Remix)” (2001)
Arguably her most infectious hip-hop track, J.Lo teamed up with Ja Rule for this remix that interpolated Rick James’s “Mary Jane.”
2. “I’m Glad” (2003)
Jennifer recreated highlights from the 1983 dance film Flashdance, and was smoking hot doing so. Lopez was later sued by Maureen Marder, whose real-life story was the basis for the movie, promping Sony to Paramount a licensing fee for borrowing from the film.
