Just one week after Jennifer Lopez released the first music video for “Can’t Get Enough” from her highly-anticipated new album, This Is Me …Now, she’s back with the official trailer for the film that will accompany the LP.

Described by Prime Video as a “narrative-driven, cinematic original,” the film stems from the “heart, soul, [and] dreams of Jennifer Lopez.”

“I know what they say about me, about hopeless romantics,” Lopez, 54, narrates in the two-minute trailer. “That we’re weak and I’m not weak. I learned the hard way—not all love stories have a happy ending.”

As fans follow along in her discovery of self-love while navigating romantic love, the rom-com queen has enlisted the likes of her longtime friend and fellow Bronx native, Fat Joe, to appear as her therapist. Elsewhere in the preview, the singer’s friends host an intervention because they feel she’s addicted to sex, but instead she’s actually addicted to love.

Trevor Jackson, Keke Palmer, Sofia Vergara, Jenifer Lewis, Jay Shetty, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Kim Petras, Post Malone, and even Lopez’s husband Ben Affleck are all set to be featured in the Dave Meyers-directed movie.

Snippets from the film can be seen in the “Can’t Get Enough” video as well.

This Is Me…Now was first teased on Bennifer’s first wedding anniversary in August 2023. Its predecessor, This Is Me…Then, was released in November 2002 as their relationship initially began. As she penned “Dear Ben, Pt. 2,” on Instagram, the mother of two wrote, “Dear Ben, Sitting here alone/ Looking at my ring ring/ Feeling overwhelmed/ It makes me wanna sing sing/ How did we end up here/ Without a rewind/ Oh my/ This is my life.”

Additional track titles like “To Be Yours,” “Mad In Love,” “not.going.anywhere.,” and “This Time Around” confirm that the Gone Girl actor and their love story are still Lopez’s favorite topics of discussion.
