Jennifer Lopez interacted with social media content about unhealthy relationships as rumors of issues in her marriage with Ben Affleck continue to swirl.

On Thursday, May 16, relationship coach Lenna Marsak shared on her Instagram Stories that Lopez, 54, had “liked” a March 19 post from her account that details personality traits some people bring to relationships that the account positions as unhealthy for romance.

"Just logged on to IG and noticed @jlo liked my post," Marsak, who posts under the Instagram handle @yourcourageouscomeback, wrote. Marsak shared a screenshot of a notification that indicated Lopez's official account had liked her post. "Jlo or her PR team, I'll take it," she added.

Marsak later shared a video on May 17 asking followers to exercise caution regarding Lopez as she and Affleck, 51, face renewed speculation regarding their relationship. "Please be kind to Jennifer Lopez because she's a human being. I do not know if they're getting divorced,” she said. “I hope not, but yeah, please."

The post states that people “cannot build a healthy relationship with someone who lacks integrity & emotional safety,” does not respect others’ time, “lacks effective communication skills,” and “doesn’t know who they are or what they want.”

Lopez’s Instagram activity comes as reports of tension between her and Affleck continue to mount. The Air filmmaker and the singer were last photographed together holding hands in New York City on March 30.

Lopez has spent significant time in New York City in April and early May promoting the Netflix movie Atlas, filming the upcoming movie Kiss of the Spider Woman, and attending the 2024 Met Gala, where Affleck was absent.

Affleck, meanwhile, has been filming a sequel to his 2016 movie The Accountant on the west coast. He most recently stepped out solo at Netflix’s May 5 live Roast of Tom Brady.

Lopez and Affleck famously dated from 2002 to 2004 and rekindled their romance years later in 2021. In July 2022, the couple eloped in Las Vegas and later held a star-studded wedding at Affleck’s compound outside Savannah, Georgia.

While the couple do not share any children, Lopez shares her 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Affleck shares three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.

The couple collaborated on Lopez’s recent musical film This Is Me Now…: A Love Story and the accompanying documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told. Though Lopez said at a February screening of the film that Affleck was “kind of the reluctant participant, silent participant and all” in the movie, she also noted the Oscar-winning director offered his expertise to the project.

"It wasn't my idea to photograph every single moment of doing this,” she said at the time. “To be honest, when we started making the film, it just kind of got more and more bizarre and my husband, who had a front seat to the whole thing really, was the one who was like, 'We should be capturing this,' and he brought on this amazing team and that's kind of how it happened.”
