Jennifer Lopez Kicks Off “Small Shirt, Big Pants” Season in Super Baggy Jeans

The “small shirt, big pants” style formula has long been a classic—and basically foolproof—method of dressing. Once the weather starts to get warmer, it’s a favorite of many, including Jennifer Lopez, who put a cheery springtime twist on the old reliable.

The “Let’s Get Loud” hitmaker was spotted out and about on the streets of her hometown, New York City, enjoying the 70-degree temps in a chic and practical ensemble. Her look, which she wore to lunch with husband Ben Affleck’s best friend Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana Barroso, consisted of high-waisted jeans that featured a slouchy, wide-leg construction, button-up fly, and vibrant medium wash. She teamed her denim with a fitted forest-green turtleneck sweater that featured ribbing details throughout and a cropped construction that flashed Lopez’s incredible washboard abs. To keep things cozy, she added her trusty chestnut platform Ugg boots, and for a little color coordination, a small glossy forest-green top-handle purse. She finished everything off with her massive diamond wedding ring and thin-framed circular shades with slightly tinted lenses, wore her caramel locks down in voluminous soft curls with a middle part, and glammed up with soft, rosy makeup, complete with a pretty blush and soft pink lips.

The Hustlers star later swapped out a couple of elements of her fit, including her cropped sweater, which she traded for a skintight white long-sleeved turtleneck shirt, and her matching bag, which she switched to a small white and brown, crocodile-embossed Birkin.

J.Lo had one final outfit in store for the day, this time heading in a completely different direction for the launch of her lingerie collection at the Intimissimi flagship store. For the special occasion, she brought back Barbiecore, looking pretty in pink in a dazzling bubble-gum pink long-sleeved minidress completely covered in sequins. She paired the radiant piece with matching strawberry-pink suede pumps with a pointed-toe design, large diamond-adorned hoop earrings, and a chunky metallic-purple choker necklace. As for beauty, Lopez kept her soft curls, but glammed up with a bronzy blush and glossy tangerine lips.
