Jennifer Lopez Holds Up Her Baggiest Jeans With a Shoelace

For Jennifer Lopez, baggy jeans aren’t a trend—they’re a lifestyle.

The singer-slash-actress seems to have an affinity for the loose denim look, wearing oversized jeans everywhere from brunch with Ben Affleck to running errands around New York City. She’s stepped out in a dirt-smudged version of the silhouette from Acne Studios, as well as a comically large pair of jeans from Gucci, which she’s re-worn plenty of times, too. Her most recent pair, however, might be her baggiest yet.

While out and about in Paris on Friday, J.Lo wore a boxy white T-shirt and ultra-loose jeans reminiscent of JNCOs from the ‘90s. To keep the denim from dragging on the floor—which it still might’ve, considering Lopez’s height—the singer took a page from Gen Z, and tied what looked like a white shoelace around the waistband. Maybe she’s taking notes from her 16-year-old twin daughters, or maybe she’s been spending more time on TikTok. Either way, Lopez made the look her own with her signature square sunglasses and crisp white sneakers.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a J.Lo outfit without some bling. She accessorized with gold hoop earrings, multiple diamond bracelets, and smattering of chunky gold rings. Her purse, a mini emerald green Dior Lady Bag, added a pop of color (and luxury) to the ensemble.

As temperatures dropped later in the day, Lopez layered with an oversized white mohair sweater, keeping her look comfy and cozy. She wore her caramel-highlighted hair pulled back in an effortless bun with curtain fringe.
