Jennifer Lopez Got Hair Touch-Ups in the Middle of 2024 Golden Globes Red Carpet: See the Unscripted Moment

Jennifer Lopez’s glam team is never far away.

On Sunday afternoon, the singer and actress, 54, walked the Golden Globes red carpet with husband Ben Affleck (whose movie Air received a nod) and stole the show — with a little help from her hairstylist, Chris Appleton.

Between photo opps, Lopez and Appleton, 40, paused for a quick touch-up to the “On the Floor” singer’s hair, a video shared by journalist Kirbie Johnson on Instagram stories.

In the clip, the stylist can be seen adjusting the actress’ front tresses, which were styled into perfect waves to achieve a glamorous, Old Hollywood-inspired ‘do.

Appleton, who also works with stars like Kim Kardashian and Dua Lipa, shared more of Lopez’s hair details in a breakdown of the look on his own Instagram.

First, he prepped the singer’s hair with a volumizer, which he spread through her hair with a detangling brush. He then dried her hair, curled it and used a texturizing spray before brushing the curls out and teasing them for extra volume.

The stylist finished the side-swept look by taming flyaways with a special blow dryer attachment and setting the waves with hairspray.

Along with the bold ‘do, Lopez rocked a neutral, glossy glam and a baby pink gown with show-stopping floral details. Affleck, 51, let his wife shine in a simple black tux.

The Marry Me star looked positively radiant in the custom strapless Nicole + Felicia mermaid dress, which featured a matching cape and exaggerated flower sleeves.

She paired the look with dazzling Boucheron jewels, a glittering Judith Leiber clutch and Christian Louboutin heels.

J. Lo may not have been nominated at the Globes, but she still had people fangirling over her. At the Sunday award show, Brie Larson found herself starstruck after coming face-to-face with Lopez.

During a viral red carpet chat with Entertainment Tonight, Larson, 34, choked up after noticing that Lopez was standing directly behind her — and walking right toward her.

"Oh my God. I'm gonna cry. I can't deal with J. Lo," Larson said, closing her eyes. The Lessons in Chemistry star then introduced herself to Lopez, telling her, “You mean too much to me.”

After a hug, and J. Lo revealed that she is "such a huge fan" of Larson, and the Marvel star reciprocated, adding, "I saw Selena and it made me want to be an actor. And you've always meant so much to me.”

"Oh my God, don't make me cry," Lopez responded.
