Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Were Just Seen Together For the First Time Since Those Divorce Rumors Started Up

It looks like Bennifer is still Bennifering.

On May 16, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were seen together for the first time since all this divorce drama started bubbling up. In new photos and video shared by InTouch—the same tabloid that first reported their alleged split—Affleck can be seen picking up Lopez and her 16-year-old child, Emme Muñiz, in an SUV after 15-year-old Fin Affleck’s school play.

While InTouch continues to report that the couple is “no longer sleeping under the same roof” and a source told People that the pair arrived separately, Affleck can clearly be seen wearing his wedding ring while keeping his left hand on the wheel. It’s a bit harder to tell with Lopez—who was dressed in a pair of wide-leg jeans and beige top—though People reports that both parties were seen with their rings on as they left the event. This seems likely given that Lopez was also photographed wearing her ring earlier in the day.

Whether this was a family night out or an amicable outing for the benefit of their teens, this marks the first time Bennifer has been photographed together in 47 days. They were last seen together in New York City on March 30 as they have both been filming projects on opposite coasts, but fans grew suspicious of the typically public couple once Lopez walked the Met Gala red carpet alone on May 6.

After Jennifer Lopez was seen house-hunting in Los Angeles without Ben Affleck on May 14, InTouch reported that the Boston-born actor had already moved out of their Beverly Hills mansion and that the pair were “headed for divorce.”

“They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted,” an unnamed source told the publication at the time. “They waited almost two decades to get back together, but in the end, they just couldn’t make it work…. They both said they’d matured and learned from their mistakes, but some of the bigger issues that tore them apart the first time remained the same.”
