Jennifer Lopez Is Always The Bride In “Can’t Get Enough” Music Video

Jennifer Lopez returns to the music scene with “Can’t Get Enough,” the first single from her anticipated album. Directed by Dave Meyers, the music video finds the Bronx representative at the alter, cycling through grooms.
“[It feels like] authentic rhythms and melodies and more than anything, a feeling in the music, and I think that’s what a lot of people who heard the album in its early days were feeling, they were like, ‘There’s something true about this,'” explained Lopez of the track to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1.
“There’s something that feels gritty and honest and raw and real and vulnerable and brave about this music from all of these people, not just from me. I love it. I feel like ‘Can’t Get Enough’ is a perfect way to kind of come out of the box with this one because it does have that like my performance energy.”
As the cinematic music video for “Can’t Get Enough” teases with the “to be continued” message displayed at the end, the track marks a new era for Jennifer Lopez. The award-winning actress is set to release This Is Me…, on Feb. 16, 2024, marking her first album in almost a decade. In addition to the music project, the 54-year-old will release the visual special This Is Me…Now: A Love Story.
The personal project is described in a press release as “a powerful and heartfelt ode to her journey of self-healing and everlasting belief in fairy tale endings.”
“I’ve been working on [the project] for two years, I mean, I had the album all done when I announced it a year ago. It just took that long to get everything perfect and right and to make the movie,” the “On The Floor” singer explained to Zane Lowe.
“I came up with the idea for the movie after the music was made. I was like, ‘Okay, there’s something really special to be said here along with this story,’ and there’s also the journey that I’ve been on all this time, and I wanted to share all of those things with this project because it really is a culmination of a whole life in a way.”
“Can’t Get Enough” was co-written and produced at her home studio in Los Angeles by Jennifer Lopez, Rogét Chahaye. Watch the music video above.
