Jennifer Lawrence Reveals Funny Possible Role in Next David O. Russell Film
On Live with Kelly and Michael Tuesday, Jennifer Lawrence was asked about her ongoing working relationship with the likes of Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, and writer/director David O. Russell. She admitted that Russell is actually working on yet another project for them and in it she will be playing De Niro’s mother.
Lawrence, who claims she was serious but is known to fib in interviews from time to time, said that “the more people give him crap for me being too young for his parts, he’s like, ‘Oh yeah, watch this.’”
The Joy star also touched on the recent reports that Lionsgate is looking to develop prequels to the Hunger Games franchise, something she is not superpumped about. “I’m sorry — it’s too soon, don’t you think? I’m kind of offended.”
Joy opens Dec. 25.
