Jennifer Lawrence Really Hates New Year’s Eve: ‘I Always End Up Drunk and Disappointed’
Jennifer Lawrence may be a vision of glitz and glam when she hits the red carpet, but there’s one occasion she doesn’t care to to get all dolled up for.
During a pre-taped appearance on The Graham Norton Show airing New Year’s Eve, the Oscar winner admitted that she really hates the end-of-year holiday.
“I’ve never had a good one,” she told the BBC host. “Everyone’s chasing a good time and it’s always a disappointment. I plan on doing nothing and then if something lands in my lap … but I always end up drunk and disappointed.”
Could her hatred for New Year’s Eve possibly have something to do with the fact that she’s sort of become notorious for puking? The Joy actress revealed that she has a tendency to vomit when she gets “stressed and exhausted.” She also copped to vomiting on the porch at one leading lady’s award show soiree. Oops!
