Jennifer Lawrence and Fiancé Cooke Maroney Spotted Apartment Hunting in New York City

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney are looking for a new home together.

The couple was spotted apartment hunting in New York City on Thursday, just over two months after they got engaged.

Lawrence and Maroney were seen walking around the city with real estate broker John Gomes, who focuses on luxury estates throughout N.Y.C., as well as Los Angeles and Miami.

The Oscar-winning actress, 28, had her hair pulled back and wore a colorful cropped jacket over a white sweater and jeans for the outing. The art gallery director, 34, looked casual in a white long-sleeve shirt and Nike sneakers.

Earlier this month, Lawrence and Maroney scouted venues for a possible engagement party or pre-wedding festivities. An insider told PEOPLE that the pair checked out two luxury hotels in Manhattan.

A second source called Lawrence a “family girl,” adding, “I would be surprised if the wedding were not a fairly extensive family affair.”

Lawrence hails from Kentucky, where her parents still have a house, and Maroney’s family owns a farm in Vermont.

The Red Sparrow star and Maroney have been spotted out together frequently in Manhattan since PEOPLE confirmed they were dating in June. After Lawrence was spotted with a “massive sparkler” during dinner at Raoul’s restaurant in early February, they stepped out arm-in-arm following a meal the next month.

Lawrence also showed off her Alison Lou-designed diamond ring during a solo girls’ night out at ABC Cocina in N.Y.C. on Feb. 21.
