Jennifer Gates has found her match!

On Friday, the daughter of billionaire Microsoft founder Bill Gates and his ex-wife Melinda Gates announced in an Instagram post that she had received her placement in the National Resident Matching Program, which determines the first position for young doctors in the U.S.

“Pediatrician incoming!!! 💗👩‍⚕️” Gates, 27, wrote in the post, alongside a photo of her smiling for the camera in a black dress, holding up a card announcing the hospital she would be working for.

“Thrilled to finally share that after 4 years of medical school, I’ve matched for residency at Mt. Sinai on the Pediatrics Research pathway,” Gates continued. “What a dream come true — I can’t wait to learn from incredible healthcare providers and patients about all that it means to become a doctor.

“Residency here we come! 🩺👩‍⚕️💗.” she finished, adding the hashtag “#matchday2024” to share her results with her fellow incoming doctors.

“Congratulations @jenngatesnassar!” Bill, 68, wrote in an Instagram Story post, alongside his daughter's picture. “I’m so impressed by you—and the doctor you’re becoming."

Bill has long been supportive of his oldest kid’s dreams of becoming a doctor. In May 2023, he and Melinda were seen together attending Jennifer’s graduation from Columbia University.

Gates' mom chimed in in the comments, as well, writing, “I am so proud of you! Congratulations on this next chapter.”

Her sister Phoebe Gates, 21, also shared some love, simply commenting with two hand-clapping emojis on Gates' post.

Gates has been quite busy over the last several years. The now-doctor wed her husband, Nayel Nassar, in an elegant New York ceremony in October 2021. She and the Olympic equestrian, 33, welcomed a baby girl in March 2023.

“(Accelerated) Master of Public Health 👩‍🎓🩵,” Jennifer wrote in another Instagram post, shared just after her graduation. “Thank you @columbiapublichealth for this incredible educational opportunity and the village around me who made this possible. Grateful 🙏✨.”

Reflecting on a busy year, Gates wrote in an Instagram post celebrating her 27th birthday in April she was happy to welcome her baby girl.

"Best part of 26: a healthy pregnancy and daughter. 🙏💜 I love you so much, sweet girl. 👼," she wrote at the time, alongside a photo of her holding her little girl and smiling for the camera.

Writing in his own Instagram post back in April, Bill told his daughter, "Happy birthday, Jenn! You continue to amaze me with your intelligence, creativity, and compassion. I feel incredibly lucky to be your dad, and I'm so proud of everything you've accomplished. Love you always!"
