  • In preparation for her role in the action flick Peppermint, Garner started working with celeb nutritionist Kelly LeVeque.

  • The trainer, who also works with Chelsea Handler, Emmy Rossum, and Molly Sims, is known for what she calls her Fab Four formula: a smoothie with enough protein, fat, fiber, and greens to keep you full for hours.

Along with serious acting chops, it's become somewhat of a requirement that every A-lister tout a signature smoothie recipe, too. Jessica Alba claims hers cleared her acne, Zac Efron pregames red carpets with his, and Julianne Hough says hers tastes like a slice of apple pie—minus all the calories and guilt. Now Jennifer Garner is throwing hers into the mix.

In preparation for her role in the action flick Peppermint, Garner started working with celeb nutritionist Kelly LeVeque. LeVeque is the brains behind Alba's smoothie (she works with Chelsea Handler, Emmy Rossum, and Molly Sims, too), and she's known for what she calls her Fab Four formula: a drink with enough protein, fat, fiber and greens to keep you full for hours.

"I started with [LeVeque] a few months ago to get ready for #PEPPERMINTmovie and have had her smoothie every day for breakfast since," Garner captioned a recent Instagram video of the smoothie making process.

Normally, the drink calls for fresh blueberries, but the mom of three had an ingenious hack for the recipe. "I decided to play scientist and see if my @onceuponafarm cold-pressed, organic puree (or baby food, if you're a baby, but whatever) could be a substitute for fresh blueberries when I didn't see any in the fridge. Yep, it could," she wrote.

(FYI, Garner's a co-founder of Once Upon A Farm.) Thankfully, Garner provided the entire recipe in the caption so you can try it out at home.
