Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's Child Reveals New Name at Emotional Family Event

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner

One of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's children has officially shared their new moniker.

The pair's middle child, 15, now goes by the name Fin Affleck, a change confirmed by the teen during the recent funeral service for Jennifer's late father, William "Billy" Jack Garner, who died at the age of 85 late last month.

It was during a memorial service for Billy in Charleston, West Virginia on Saturday, April 6, when Fin walked up to the church lectern to deliver a reading. As heard in footage of the emotional event obtained by the Daily Mail, they addressed the congregation by saying, "Hello, my name is Fin Affleck," before going on to read a verse from the Bible.

Fin is one of three children that Ben and Jennifer share together, along with their first-born, Violet, 18, and their youngest, Samuel, 12. The kids' parents were married for 10 years before announcing their divorce in 2015.

Ben, 51, is now married to Jennifer Lopez, who also has children from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony: 16-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Following J.Lo and Ben's 2022 nuptials, the couple has blended their two families together, with all of their kiddos having been spotted having fun together on several different occasions since their parent's tied the knot.

In fact, Emme—who uses gender-neutral pronouns—is reported to have a particularly tight friendship with Fin, per the Daily Mail, as the two step-siblings are frequently seen together enjoying some bonding time. The two BFFs have even been spotted holding hands during various outings in Los Angeles, according to the outlet.
