Jennifer Aniston shares selfie with all 5 'Friends' co-stars in Instagram debut

Instagram, Jennifer Aniston is here. And she's showing off her "Friends."

The "Morning Show" star, who was hesitant to join social media, made her first Instagram post Tuesday morning. The selfie features her "Friends" co-stars of 10 seasons, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry.

Though her caption doesn't reveal much about when or where the photo was taken, Aniston opened up to Howard Stern last week about a recent reunion at Cox's home over dinner.

“Schwimmer was in town, and we all happened to have a window of time, so we all got together," she said on Stern's radio program. "Oh my God, we laughed so hard.”

Shortly after 7 p.m. EDT, Aniston had amassed more than 4 million followers. She is following stars like Orlando Bloom, Jennifer Garner, Adam Sandler, Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, Oprah Winfrey, Jimmy Kimmel and her ex-husband Justin Theroux.

Theroux even left a sweet comment under her first post. "Woot-Woot," he wrote, adding a raised hand emoji, heart emoji, and the hashtag #first.

Though the two announced their split in February 2018, they have remained friendly. Theroux gave his former love an Instagram shout-out about a year later on her 50th birthday.

"Happy Birthday to this fierce Woman. Fiercely loving. Fiercely kind. ....and fiercely funny. ❤️ you B." Theroux wrote.

Theroux was not the only one to leave Aniston some love on her first post.

"Love you," Cox wrote, while Gwyneth Paltrow added, "THIS IS HUGEEEEEE." Kerry Washington commented, "WELCOME TO THE GRAM!!!!"

Kate Hudson said, "Whoa girl!!!! Here we go!" Mindy Kaling wrote, "OMG welcome to the internets!"

Ellen DeGeneres joked, "I'm so glad they're still there for you," referring to her "Friends" co-stars.

The actress, who may have first hit it big pre-Twitter or Instagram, recently told Entertainment Tonight she can appreciate the way it now allows big stars to speak directly to fans, with no middleman.

"You can actually have a little bit more control over the narrative that's out there," Aniston said. "(You can) right some wrongs and some silly things that, God knows, are said often."

Aniston broke her longtime stance of ignoring gossip chatter in 2016, penning an essay for the HuffPost slamming perpetual curiosity about whether or not she's pregnant.

"For the record, I am not pregnant," she wrote. "What I am is fed up. I’m fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of 'journalism,' the 'First Amendment' and 'celebrity news.' "

Months later, Aniston opened up on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" about her decision to weigh in on the coverage.

"We as women do a lot of incredible things in this world other than just procreate and, not that that is not, but it’s like we just get boxed in," she said. "They love the narrative, they love the story, they love the 'She’s jealous of this person,' and, 'This person’s depressed' and 'Oh my gosh, she’s never going to have a (child).' Whatever the horrible little headline is, we’ve just got to break out of that and go, ‘Whoa, whoa.' And women, I have to say, are many of the authors of these horrible articles that are written in these B.S. tabloids."

She continued: "So, we have to stop listening to them and we have to stop buying them because we have to support each other, especially at this time, to love each other, to support, and to be proud of women, of whatever your choice is in life. It’s up to us what makes us happy and fulfilled."
