Jennie Goes Aquatic in Alaïa for the 2024 Met Gala

In a complete shift from the '90s Chanel mini from her Met Gala debut last year, Blackpink's Jennie Kim arrived at this year's vibrant cobalt blue number from another iconic French house.

The star wore a custom, asymmetrically-draped Alaïa dress mirroring a flowing stream. It wrapped all around her body into a high-neck silhouette, before cascading down her back into a train flowing behind her. According to a press release from the brand, it took more than 200 hours of work and 13 meters of fabric to make happen. She paired it with bright blue pumps and pearlescent accessories, including a waistband consisting of a single strand of pearls and matching drop earrings.

Jennie kept her Met Gala glam simply refreshing: She styled her hair into multiple slicked-back buns, and finished her look with a sparkling white eye shadow and winged eyeliner.
