Jenna Fischer Has Two Very Different Roles on NBC

You’re going to be seeing a lot of Jenna Fischer on NBC this week.

Tonight, the former star of The Office starts a recurring role on The Mysteries of Laura’s with the drama’s Valentine’s Day episode. She plays Jennifer Lambert, an attorney and single mom who shakes things up for Laura (Debra Messing) when sparks fly between her and Jake (Josh Lucas), Laura’s ex-husband. Also, a long-dormant serial killer may have reemerged. Watch an exclusive sneak peek above.

On Thursday, You, Me and the Apocalypse continues its first season with an hour that finds Fischer’s Rhonda getting waylaid in her desperate attempt to find her son. She and Leanne (Megan Mullally) stumble upon a farm and try to steal new duds from the clothesline. Rhonda gets caught by the home owner (guest star Nick Offerman), who feels comfortable enough with her to express his true self — by dressing “like a lady.” When Rhonda’s identity as a prison escapee is revealed, however, things take a turn. We won’t spoil for you. Watch the exclusive clip below.
