Jenna Dewan is in the midst of wedding planning with her fiancé Steve Kazee — despite her ongoing divorce settlement drama with ex Channing Tatum.

“She’s very happy with Steve and would like to marry him," says a source close to the Rookie actress, 43. "They started planning a wedding for later this year."

Dewan, who shares daughter Everly, 10, with Tatum and son Callum, 4, with Kazee, 48, "loves being a mom and is excited about being pregnant again," the source adds. Dewan and Tony-winning actor Kazee announced in January they're expecting their second child together. "She loves parenting with Steve," adds the source. "Steve is amazing. They are a great team. He’s a very hands-on and involved dad."

Tatum, 43, and Dewan "continue to co-parent and do a great job. Everly is an amazing girl," the source says.

Dewan filed for divorce from Tatum in 2018 and the two were ruled legally single in 2019, but still haven't finalized their divorce settlement.

The Step Up costars are still in court over the division of their finances, including profits from Tatum's Magic Mike franchise. Earlier this month, the exes called on each other to testify as witnesses in a trial over the settlement, with the biggest sticking point involving profits from the Magic Mike movies.

Lawyers for Dewan argue that she is entitled to more money from the franchise, because the films were "developed and co-financed by Channing during marriage with community effort and marital funds," according to docs previously obtained by PEOPLE.

Tatum adamantly disputes this in his filings, saying he "never denied Petitioner of her share of the community assets or income."

In response to Dewan's filing, Tatum's lawyers wrote that they have yet to reach a divorce settlement after five years and they need to schedule it for trial without a "last-minute" postponement.

They say Tatum has "exhausted all efforts in an attempt to settle this matter without litigation."

Just one month later, they welcomed their son, and in January 2024, they revealed they have another milestone on the horizon: they're expecting their second child together.

"Jenna has a very energetic energy and Steve’s very calm," the source says. "They compliment each other perfectly.”

The mom-of-two has been candid about her wedding plans for her upcoming nuptials to Kazee — in a 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Dewan revealed she and the Shameless actor were still trying to "figure out" their wedding plans.

"We are figuring it out, now that the world is coming back into a little bit of a better, easier place to all get together," she said at the time. "We're really trying to figure out the details, and we'll be there sooner than later."
