Jenna Bush Hager and her twin sister Barbara Bush spent some quality time with their parents for two very special occasions.

On Sunday, the Today with Hoda & Jenna co-host posted a photo on Instagram of the group of four spending an intimate night out at dinner to celebrate Laura Bush's 77th birthday.

"Happiest birthday to our darling mama!" Bush Hager, 41, began her caption. "We [sic] so happy to get to spend the night with you just the four of us! We love you so! @laurawbush."

In the photo, George W. Bush, also 77, is seated next to Laura wearing a navy business casual blazer while his wife donned a dark sweater and a bronzed strand of pearls. The fraternal twins, in opposite black-and-white styles, leaned in with smiles on their faces.

"AND happiest 46 years to our parents," Bush Hager added in honor of the former President and First Lady's special milestone. "Love you both!"

The second photo featured a close-up of the couple looking relaxed and happy side-by-side at the table.

Explaining their congenial family dynamic, Bush Hager told Today viewers last month that her parents helped instill her fun personality since she was young, as they used to call her Benny and called her sister Beau.

“Because somebody said ‘Your twin boys are adorable’ and they actually came up with full names for us because they thought it was funny," she joked. “That, in turn, made me funny. If I was the cutest little girl, I might have been in pageants.”

Then in August, the Everything Beautiful in Its Time: Seasons of Love and Loss author noted to co-anchor Hoda Kotb that her parents were “creative birthday party planners."

For the twins' 16th birthday, they convinced the girls to head to school early, telling them they were going to get their driver's licenses first thing in the morning as part of their sweet 16 celebrations.

“We were going to kiss my dad goodbye for school, my mom was like, ‘Go in and tell Dad goodbye,' ” Bush Hager recalled. “And we walked in and all of our friends were sitting there.”

“My parents were very creative birthday people, which was fun," she said. "But then it gets kind of awkward because it’s like [they have] the old boyfriend sitting next to the new boyfriend.”

“They invited both boyfriends?” Kotb questioned before adding, “Your parents are wild.”
