Jenna Bush Hager Tries Shorter Hairdo with Lisa Rinna-Inspired Wig: 'I Kind of Look Like My Mom!'

Hager's co-host Hoda Kotb said she gave off vibes of someone in the "'60s with cigarette pants, smoking a cigarette"

Jenna Bush Hager totally wigged out on air today.

On Monday's episode of The Today Show, Hager, 42, won a playful game against her co-host Hoda Kotb and was gifted a Lisa Rinna-inspired wig, approved by the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star, 60.

"Do I look like my mom? I kind of look like my mom!" Hager asked Kotb, 50, while donning the retro hairstyle, referring to former First Lady Laura Bush.

Kotb disagreed. "You know what you look like, someone from the '60s with cigarette pants, smoking a cigarette," she joked, adding the look was "not bad."

Hager has a fun history of trying on wigs on The Today Show.

In October 2023, when stylist-to-the-stars Chris Appleton was a guest on the show, he helped the mom of three wear seven different hairstyles in an hour, aided by wigs.

The talk show co-host channeled some of Appleton's famous clients in looks inspired by Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez.

"As soon as I met Jenna, I knew she was born for this. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on you for a long time," Appleton, 40, said on the show, praising Hager's versatility.

The former First Daughter wasn't a fan of every look. She didn't believe she successfully pulled off the hairstyle inspired by Lopez, 50.

"I like it — I don’t want to hurt Chris’ feelings, but I do feel a little like Barbie," Hager said.

Kotb agreed that while many stars could pull it off, "sensual" wasn't exactly her friend's vibe.

"You give off a friend, cool-girl vibe," she said, while Appleton just reminded the ladies that ""Barbie's in!"
