Jenna Bush Hager announces she's pregnant with her third child: 'It's a shock'

The Today show personality, 37, broke the news that she’s pregnant with a boy on Monday’s show, explaining that after telling her daughters — on Easter morning — she had to tell the rest of the world. That’s because little Mila and Poppy can’t keep quiet about the happy news.

“They told the man behind me on the airplane. They told the people at church,” Bush Hager said with a laugh. “They’re so happy — to [the point] where they’re telling strangers.”

The TV personality called the pregnancy “a shock” and spilled more details on the 10 o’clock hour of the show, which she now hosts with Hoda Kotb, who’s currently on leave after adopting a second daughter last week. She said she’s five-and-a-half months along and kept it hidden on the show with Spanx. Bush Hager, alongside guest co-host Meredith Vieira, also did a gender reveal for the audience, so there were blue balloons everywhere. Kotb also called in to congratulate her.

She also shared a video of breaking the news to her daughters. It was written on a message on an egg delivered by the Easter bunny.

The first daughter, whose dad is George W. Bush, has been married to Henry Hager since 2008. She said they’re both getting used to the news.

“Henry will be like, all of a sudden, ‘Wait, what are we doing?’” she said with a laugh.
