Tis the season for a Jenifer x Jennifer reunion. On Saturday night (Dec. 16), Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Ben Affleck hosted an A-list pre-Christmas extravaganza and during the lavish affair. She and Jenifer Lewis serenaded guests with a special rendition of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.”

Lopez wrapped her arms around Lewis’ shoulders as the acclaimed Black-ish actress wooed onlookers with her hearty vocals. In the midst of the impromptu performance, Lewis gushed to Lopez, “You better sing!”

“There was so much love in the room,” Lewis wrote on social media after a video of the performance surfaced. “Great party baby girl. Happy Holidays Everybody,” the 66-year-old continued.

Fans flooded Lewis’ comments and practically demanded that she record a holiday album. “If we don’t have an album called ‘Jenifer Lewis: Christmas in These Streets’ by next year, I’m already giving up on 2024,” wrote one user.

Another praised the richness of The Preacher’s Wife actress’ voice, noting, “I love when you can feel a voice. This was so good. I felt a deep in my soul.”

Of the rest of the party, a source told PEOPLE that it was “really fun” and said the Afflecks were “in such good spirits.” Other attendees included Margot Robbie and Michael B. Jordan.

Even though neither Lewis nor Lopez have a holiday album in their catalogs, the latter does have somewhat of a holiday classic with her 2002 hit, “All I Have” featuring LL Cool J from her LP, This Is Me…Then.

The sequel, This Is Me…Now, is coming in 2024 and marks Lopez’s first LP in nearly a decade.

Of the new album, Thomas Scherer of BMG explained, “Clearly written with love and through experience, This Is Me..Now is uplifting and inspiring. ‘Jenny From The Block’ is back at a point in her career when her message is bigger than ever.”
