At the end of October, Jenelle Evans shocked everyone when she announced she would be splitting up from her husband David Eason, whom she has shared a tumultuous relationship with over the last few years.
In a statement posted to her Instagram, the Teen Mom 2 star wrote, "Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that's what is best for me and for my kids. Today I've filed papers to start that process. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together. But you'll hear from us again soon."

Drug Problems
This isn't the first time she has dealt with drama-filled headlines about her life. Jenelle has done some pretty crazy things in the past, all leading to major scandals.
Jenelle has struggled with drug addiction in the past, even appearing high on multiple episodes of Teen Mom 2. She confessed in her book Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom how bad the problem got, writing, "I was hooked" and said she didn't want to "glamorize the drug by going into the long details of why people love it so damned much." Apparently, she was using heroin 4-5 times a day.
Multiple Children With Different Men
Jenelle conceived her son Jace with Andrew Lewis when she was just 16, leading to her role on Teen Mom 2. However, her mother Barbara was later awarded custody for the boy's safety, and that still remains in place today.
She later went on to have son Kaiser with Nathan Griffith, whom she split from not long after the birth. Their relationship was documented on the MTV show, and it was not a happy one. Nathan later accused Jenelle of child abuse multiple times.
After marrying David Eason, Jenelle gave birth to their daughter Ensley in January 2017. And, by the looks of recent headlines, their marriage had not been a happy one.

That was the big reason — that's why she wasn't invited in the first place. You don't like David, so why are you coming to the wedding, then?"
