Jenelle Evans' Latest Photo Sparked So Much Outrage That She Turned Off Comments

Former "Teen Mom" star Jenelle Evans had to turn off her comments after a recent photo ruffled some feathers.

She Was Just 'Proud Of Her Chickens'

Evans posted a picture of her daughter, Ensley, and Ensley's father, David Eason, on her Instagram page, writing, "So proud of her chickens #LittleMama."

Regardless of the intention, the post got some fans upset.

One Simple Photo

Ensley and Eason were holding a couple of chickens, which seems normal enough, except that Eason's had some trouble with animals lately.

Their family dog, a French bulldog named Nugget, was apparently shot and killed by Eason, though it's still unclear what happened to the small dog.

Pecking Away

The news earlier this year that Eason shot Nugget is still fresh in fans' minds.

"Hope they don't nip her in the face," wrote one fan.

"My heart hurts for your kids man," wrote one person, who included a heartbreak emoji.

"Please god keep him away from animals," said someone else.

Evans eventually turned off the comments to the post.

Eason's Not Horsing Around

In a past Instagram post, Eason said he just doesn't "put up" with any animal funny business.

"I don't give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face... whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that s— at all."

"I'm all about protecting my family, it is my life's mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me."
