Jenelle Evans's ex wants custody of their son after she pulled out a gun in road rage incident

There’s no love lost between Jenelle Evans and her ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith, with whom she shares a 4-year-old son, Kaiser, and as you can imagine, her recent road rage incident hasn’t helped.

Griffith, who’s already trying to get full custody of their son, is using the incident, which aired Sunday on Teen Mom 2, as ammunition in their ongoing legal battle. He said that when Evans pulled out her gun in front of her 8-year-old son, Jace (whose father is Andrew Lewis), during a dispute with another driver, she exhibited the “erratic behavior” and “unstable environment” in which she raises her three children.

“I think this helps me in my situation of getting custody of Kaiser because it shows an unstable environment and a very hectic situation instead of being calm … [and] escalating where it could potentially be more hazardous” he told TMZ. It shows that the child might be in danger being in a hostile situation like that and not making sound judgment to keep the children safe.”

Griffith, who has claimed that Evans abused their son, went on to take a swipe at the reality star for having her gun so accessible that she could just whip it out while driving. And for perhaps the first time ever, he agreed with Evans’s husband, David Eason, who blasted her for following the driver home. “Depending on the situation, that guy could have had a gun too, and it could have been an all-out brawl,” Griffith said. “Children could have been hurt… It could have been a nasty situation and bloodbath.”

Griffith, who was arrested earlier this year on a traffic violation and recently had domestic abuse charges against him dismissed, insisted that he provides “a stable and peaceful environment,” unlike Evans, who has had 20 visits from Child Protective Services. He added that his lawyers plan to subpoena the raw footage from Sunday’s episode to see what didn’t make it to air.

Griffith speculated that the other driver could have had a gun too — and he actually did. Robert Robinson Jr., who was the target of Evans’s fury (after allegedly cutting her off and then slamming on his brakes) leading her to follow him to his house, take photos of his car, pull out her gun, and then hit his mailbox when she left, told TMZ that he keeps a gun in his truck — and shoots to kill, according to the website — but didn’t take it out once he saw Evans’s son in the front seat.

Robinson also said that he alerted his neighbors when he saw Evans driving up to his house and claims they were armed as well.

The road rage incident took place on April 26, and neither Evans nor Robinson was charged with a crime. But it could still have major repercussions — if Griffith has his way.
