The actress's Christmas Is Not Cancelled organization will virtually host 'A Very 90s Christmas' event on Saturday, with proceeds benefitting children in need

After Great American Family kicked off its new slate of holiday movies last week, and Hallmark followed with its Countdown to Christmas on Friday, the actress and her organization, Christmas Is Not Cancelled, will keep the festive fun going on Saturday with the virtual A Very 90s Christmas event.
The Zoom event will feature Full House’s Andrea Barber, Dave Coulier and Marla Sokoloff, as well as Lacey Chabert, Joey Lawrence and Danica McKellar.
All proceeds from ticket sales for A Very 90s Christmas will go towards Christmas Is Not Cancelled's goal of giving 25,000 toys to children in crisis this year.
“It started out of the pandemic as a one-time campaign and it's kept going,” Lilley, 39, explains to PEOPLE of the organization’s origin. “We've served over 72,000 children already and we have an aggressive goal of 25,000 more this holiday season. And to kick off the event, we are hosting a '90s night. It benefits charity and they get to engage with some of their favorite celebrities.”

“We give bikes, we give roller skates, we give Squishmallows, we give Legos!” the mom of four says. “We really make sure that these are toys my own children would want to receive and that a parent wants to give their child.”
"A Very 90s Christmas" runs through Christmas Is Not Cancelled’s online platform, Christmas University. “It's an online, make-believe university,” Lilley says of Christmas University. “We really meet, but it's not accredited.”

“We searched the world and we found the best gift wrapper — she's in Japan and she's going to teach a class,” Lilley says. “We have top-notch teachers that come in and teach people how to become the ultimate Christmas host.”
The classes can be purchased individually or a package deal. “It includes eight weeks of celebrity panels, celebrity game nights, Christmas themed classes with major personalities, and it benefits families in crisis,” Lilley says.
The actress calls seeing the response from Toys for Tots, one of Christmas Isn’t Cancelled’s charity partners, the most special part of her work with the organization so far.
“When you bring a Marine to tears, you've done something right,” Lilley says. “The way Toys for Tots is set up is, they give the gift to the parents and then the parents get to give the gift to the child, which I think provides a lot of dignity. We've had multiple [Toys for Toys] offices all over the United States tell us how much they love us and every year reaching out, ‘Are you going to participate again? We really want your help.’ They reached a record-breaking gift giving year last year, and that was widely in part to us, they said. So that's pretty awesome.”
