Jennifer Aniston hosted her annual Friendsgiving dinner the day before Thanksgiving and made sure to whip up a special dish for one of the special, and vocal, guests. The "Friends" star holds the annual dinner before the big meal because she likes to have a "quiet" Thanksgiving without making anybody work for her.
Last year, Jimmy Kimmel, confronted Aniston about her tradition on his show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
"I want to get into something that may be a little unpleasant if you don't mind," Kimmel warned a stunned Aniston. He continued that it is very nice to take part in Friendsgiving with Aniston each year at her home, but he has a problem with the food.
"My nightmare came true," Kimmel explained, continuing, "On Thanksgiving, I cook a lot of stuff ... the normal turkey, yams, sweet potatoes, but at your event we have all of those things. So, then I'm making the same things that everyone had the night before. Again."
"In its essence, you've turned my meal into leftovers," Kimmel argued. His suggestion was that on Friendsgiving, they designate another meal instead of turkey.
Aniston said she'd be willing to compromise if Jimmy's daughter promises not to poop on her lawn this year. Yes, that happened and the story is hilarious.
"Because Jane was a lot younger, she took a s--t in the backyard, right on the lawn, right next to the beautiful pool. Then they asked for three bags. She’s healthy!”
Back to Friendsgiving, Kimmel pointed out that Aniston loves Mexican food, and suggested Gracias-giving. Well, it seems the conversation worked because on Wednesday morning Aniston put on her Instagram Stories that she was "considering" making Mexican food for the night.
Dreams Do Come True
This year Jimmy Kimmel got his wish and Jen Aniston made him a giant platter of "Jimmy's F--king Enchiladas!" They looked really good too. Kimmel was ecstatic over the offering.
"Wait a minute! Finally, someone listened to me!" Kimmel excitedly announced.
Aniston went all out too and even showed herself putting the enchiladas in the oven earlier in the day. "Ok, @jimmykimmel... here are your f*%king Friendsgiving enchiladas," she captioned her Instagram post.
Fans Praise Aniston's Cooking
After seeing her cooking skills, fans flooded Aniston's comments with love and also gave thanks for bringing some light to their lives.
"Thanks for being such a bright light in my life! I love you more than you’ll ever know!" one fan wrote.
Another commented, "I’m so thankful for you, you make me so proud honey! Happy Thanksgiving! I love you so much!!"
One "Friends" fan quipped, "[You] came a long way from putting beef in the trifle," referring to the classic episode, "The One Where Ross Got High."
Well, at least Joey liked it.
