Jelly Roll attends the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards at Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star on May 16, 2024 in Frisco, Texas.

Jelly Roll is living his best life.

The country music star couldn't help but gush over how much he's been thriving lately while hitting up the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, for the 2024 ACM Awards on Thursday, May 16.

While talking to Extra TV on the red carpet before the show, the “Need a Favor” singer opened up about his recent weight loss journey, after previously revealing that he shed over 70 pounds.

"I feel great. I'm eating healthy. I'm taking my health more serious," he gushed, while adding, "Life is good."

He went on to say that he's never been "more present" in his life, something he credits to his decision to stay off of social media, and even staying off his phone in general.

"I am living the most pure version of life I've lived in a long time," he added.

Just last month, the 39-year-old hitmaker revealed that he lost a significant amount of weight, something he did in preparation for a 5k race earlier in May. "I've been really kicking a—, man. I'm doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week."

And his hard work seemed to pay off, as he finished 2 Bears 5K race, his first-ever 5K, on Tuesday, May 7.

"I couldn’t walk a mile when I started trying to do this back in January," the country crooner told Entertainment Tonight after crossing the finish line. "So the fact that we got 3-point-whatever it was, got it down, I felt really, really good about it."
